Frequently asked questions
We regularly undertake large-scale sandblasting projects. In the past, we have worked on projects such as old timber barns, timber-framed houses, full exterior wall restorations, and iron-framed staircases.
As a mobile sandblasting service, we can handle a wide range of projects across different materials and building types. In many cases, there is no strict limit to the size of the projects we can take on.
If you would like to discuss a project, please contact us through our contact page, and we will be happy to advise.
Unfortunately, we do not shot-blast small items.
This includes:
Bicycle frames
Car alloy wheels
Garden furniture
Safes
The smallest items we typically shot-blast are larger pieces, such as Victorian fireplaces.
As a mobile sandblasting service, the cost of transporting and setting up our equipment makes small projects uneconomical.
For smaller items, we recommend searching Google for "shotblasting factories near me." These companies usually have dedicated facilities and machinery designed for smaller parts, making them a much more cost-effective option.
If you would like to discuss a larger project with us, don't hesitate to get in touch with us.
We can remove a wide range of coatings, contaminants, and surface build-ups from concrete and brick walls using professional sandblasting techniques.
Common materials we remove include:
• Paint and multiple layers of old paint
• Bitumen and tar coatings
• Graffiti and spray paint
• Cement and concrete splashes or screed
• Render residue
• Sealants and surface coatings
• Dirt, pollution staining, and heavy grime
• Algae, moss, and organic growth
• Carbon staining and smoke damage
• Efflorescence and mineral deposits
• Old adhesive residues
Sandblasting is particularly effective for restoring brick and concrete back to a clean, natural surface while preparing it for repainting, sealing, or restoration work.
If you are unsure whether we can remove a specific material, please contact us via our contact page, and we will be happy to advise.
