The owners of Riverside Mill House required a specialist sandblasting contractor to remove thick layers of historic paint from the building's original timber joists and internal and external masonry.
The project formed part of a wider restoration programme, with the exposed timber requiring specialist woodworm treatment and certification once the paint had been removed. At the same time, painted masonry needed restoring to allow the original walls to breathe naturally once again.
